Lymm Rovers Women 14 - 0 Tiki Taka Ladies

Arguably, it was the second-best result of the weekend (cannot believe we are sitting here saying second-best!) as Lymm thrashed Tiki Taka 14-0.

Reddish North End 3 - 2 Urmston Meadowside

Urmston took the battle to Reddish this weekend, managing to enter halftime at 1-1 however Reddish were able to punish Urmston a little more in the second half taking the 3 points in a 3-2, closely fought victory.

Match of the weekend, Bury FC put 15 (yes, you read it correctly, 15) goals past Rochdale, allowing them to sit top of the Division 1 table after the conclusion of GW1.

AFC Stockport Lionesses 6 - 1 Ashton Pumas Women

AFC Stockport started the season strongly as they put 6 past the visitors, only conceding one goal during the match.

Cherrybrook FC 2 - 4 AFC Oldham Reserves

An exciting and closely fought battle took place at the home of Cherrybrook, however, the visitors had a little more quality taking home the 3 points after putting 4 past the keeper.

Manchester Laces Teal 1 - 1 Hindley Town Juniors

Manchester Laces welcomed Hindley Town Juniors to Wythenshawe Sports Ground as the points were shared between the sides. Goals were scored by Megan C for Manchester Laces and Nicola W for Hindley Town.

Astley Bridge started the season well, putting 3 past Withington Corinthians to claim all three points.

Deans Youth & Ladies 12 - 1 De La Salle

Another landslide result as Deans Youth & Ladies put 12 goals past De La Salle, whilst the Reds were only able to put one past the home team. A hattrick from Letita L and 4 goals from Lucy W helped the Deans to the win.

Glossop North End 6 - 3 AFC Urmston Meadowside Athena

Glossop managed to double the amount of Goals Athena put past them, claiming 3 points on Sunday. Yet another Hattrick in the league, completed by Gracie L helped the home side to victory.

U18s Division A

The Radcliffe Development side triumphed against Astley & Tyldesley, putting 7 past the home side to bring home the 3 points.

Crompton FC 0 - 6 Macclesfield FC

Macclesfield made it look easy as they made the long journey to Crompton. I guess the long journey made them hungry for goals as they put 6 past the home side.

U18s Division C

A heavy defeat for the B team for RAFC Community as Brendon Bees put 8 in the back of the Blue's net.

Bury took the short trip to Oldham Athletic as they put 8 past Oldham. FIVE goals from Issey H helped the Shakers to a victory here.

Spurley Hey 1 - 4 Avro FC U17

In what seemed to be the closest game in the division, Avro put 4 past Spurley Hey's leaky defence during GW1, with little promise in the other direction as Spurley Hey only managed to put the 1 goal in the back of the Avro goal.

U18s Division D

Kingsway Athletic 3 - 1 Fleetwood Town Vipers

Kingsway Athletic held the only game in Division D as they put 3 goals past Fleetwood Town. Goals from Eva B and Anaya F completed the victory, whilst Amber N scored the only goal for The Cods.

As we wrap up the Gameweek 1 Roundup, it’s impossible not to highlight some truly tremendous results that set the tone for an exciting season ahead. Bury FC Reserves delivered a stunning performance with a 15-0 victory over Rochdale Community Trust, showcasing their offensive prowess and determination. Equally impressive was Lymm’s commanding 14-0 win against Tiki Taka Ladies, demonstrating their strength and cohesion on the field. These remarkable results are just a glimpse of the thrilling action we can expect this season.
